Programmes

English for Work Club – Free Weekly Support

LSI Brisbane offers a free English for Work Club to support Working Holiday and Student Visa holders.
Each session is 1 hour, highly interactive, and tailored to the students attending on the day. Topics may include:

• Personalised CV review or rewrite
• Interview skills
• Teamwork and communication
• Negotiation skills
• Workplace rights in Australia
• Tax and compliance forms (TFN, etc.)

The structured English for Work programme covers general employment skills, while additional one-to-one job support is available with Shane, our Centre Manager, for personalised guidance.

All students are welcome to participate at no extra cost.

Did you know?

More that 50% of LSI Brisbane students work while they study, gaining valuable experience and practising their new language skills with locals! Many students find opportunities in the hospitality sector, including roles in cafés and restaurants.

Junior Programmes are available in both Summer and Winter, with options for tuition only or a full package that includes tuition and activities.

Student-Friendly Facilities

LSI Brisbane offers well-equipped on-site kitchen and social facilities, making everyday student life easy, comfortable and affordable, ideal for students balancing study, work and social life. In addition to the kitchen, students can enjoy a dedicated meeting room for studying together, relaxing or socialising between classes.

Facilities include a large fridge, water dispenser, two microwaves, toaster, hot sandwich makers, and shared glasses, plates and cutlery.
