【MONOL】Calling for Applications: Student Blogger / Japanese Student Assistan (Philippines / Baguio)


Monol has once again opened our Student Blogger Program. This program is offered to encourage students to create the best memories while studying English at Monol and share their stories with the world!

We are inviting our partners to register a Student Blogger who can help us not only spread the word about Monol but also inspire potential students to choose the Philippines for studying English.

What are the conditions of the Student Blogger Program?

1. Each agency can only send one (1) Student Blogger to Monol
2. Student Blogger should start the course in June or July
3. Course Duration: Maximum of 8 weeks
4. Student Blogger Discount: $300 / 4 weeks plus 20 free meal coupons to be redeemed at the campus restaurant
5. Students who were already enrolled cannot be converted into Student Bloggers

Student Bloggers should submit one (1) article every week in their own language and may write about the following topics:

• Academics: Monol courses, teachers, optional classes
• On-campus activities: school events, fitness classes
• Monol facilities and services
• Weekend Trips: traveling outside Baguio
• After school activities in Baguio

We are also looking for a Japanese Student Assistant with the following conditions:
• He/She will be having 4 free classes and will be required to work for 4 hours
• He/She is willing to work/study in Monol for at least 24 weeks or 6 months
• He/She is willing to shoulder his/her flight tickets, Special Study Permit (SSP), and visa extension fees
• Monol will be providing the student with free accommodation. He/she will be assigned to any room type, based on the available slots on the date he/she will arrive in Monol. (Meals will not be included since we no longer offer them.)

What are the tasks of a Student Assistant:

1. Work with the Student Relations Department (SRD) in dealing with student concerns
2. Work with SRD staff to prepare materials needed for the orientation of students
3. Work with SRD to organize city tours, weekend trips, group pick-up, etc.
4. Translate materials for marketing and advertising
5. Assist in dealing with partner agencies that have concerns about their students' needs
