【DynaSpeak】インターナショナルコース終了について

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Last month we wrote to you, the close business colleagues and supporters of DynaSpeak, informing you of a possible change that could affect some of your current and prospective DynaSpeak students later this year. Following a consultation period with staff, the decision to end provision of English Language courses to international students, effective from 16 July 2018, has now been confirmed. Therefore, DynaSpeak will stop providing classes for international students, and only teach English to New Zealand citizens and residents enrolled in the NZCEL course.

DynaSpeak classes for international students continue until 13 July, 2018. As we pointed out previously, many of your current students will have already finished their DynaSpeak course by then. Students whose course extends beyond 13 July will be able to switch their study location to one of a number of the other English New Zealand schools. If a student needs to update their study visa, DynaSpeak will assist and pay any Immigration NZ fee for the change of conditions.

If the student chooses one of the 15 other English New Zealand schools in Auckland, they can most probably stay in their current homestay or other accommodation after 13 July. The transfer option also includes the possibility of transferring to an English New Zealand school in another region, such as Rotorua, Napier, Mt Maunganui, Nelson, Wellington, Christchurch or Queenstown. Whichever great English New Zealand school they choose, DynaSpeak and English New Zealand will assist them to easily transfer visa and course of study to their new school.

Next week DynaSpeak will meet with students whose course extends beyond 13 July to provide them with information about the English New Zealand schools and transfer opportunities. It is expected students will normally continue their study without interruption from 16 July. As we have said previously, we count on you to support your students and, where appropriate, their parents by assisting them to make the best choice for their transfer. With your support in guiding your students’ choice, the transfer will be simple and involve no administrative complexity for you. Our staff will manage it smoothly and funds will be transferred to the other English New Zealand school directly. Alternatively, if a student wishes to withdraw after 13 July, a fees refund (unused balance) will be available on application.

The confirmation of the change decision affects four DynaSpeak international administrative staff, whose positions will become redundant from the end of July. All displaced teachers, however, have been offered other teaching positions within DynaSpeak in the NZCEL programme (available for NZ residents only), either here at Queen Street, or at one of our four other Auckland locations.

DynaSpeak will provide further information to you about arrangements for affected students whose English course extends after 13 July, once we have met with them. Please contact your DynaSpeak Business Development Executive if you have any questions in the interim.

Thank you for your attention and consideration.
